The Osmane Fethi Theater was in a row of houses originally occupied by Spanish fishermen.

Before El Moudja turned the building into a theater, it was a restaurant. This photograph shows the outside of the building before El Moudja occupied it.

The bar, here decorated with theatrical images, reveals the building's history as a restaurant.

Universal symbol of the theatrical arts.

The theater literally overlooked the sea. A fish restaurant run by the Boudjemaa family was beside it.

The window overlooking the sea was a favorite gathering spot.
